Medical Missions

The author has a fruitful and distinguished career in academe and clinical practice.  She was chosen to be a Fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2001.  She was elected to the AANP Certification Program Board in 2002 and continues to serve in that capacity.  In 2011, she received the AANP International Nurse Practitioner of the year, Long Term Award.   She has maintained an international practice with students/health care providers in Honduras, Ecuador, Guatemala, India, China, Ukraine, Crimea, Thailand, Vietnam, Liberia, and Egypt.   She maintains her domestic practice as a Volunteer at a free clinic in Coeur d’ Alene, ID.
