Trends in Global Practice

Nurse practitioners (NPs) provide care and leadership in many international settings.  Worldwide the population is aging and growing, with a corresponding growth in chronic disease and urgent need for preventive care.  Healthcare delivery is changing at an ultra-rapid pace as well.  These trends will be discussed in light of increasing numbers of NPs and changing NP roles in international settings.
