Abstract:
Although psychiatric content is covered in Family Nurse Practitioner programs, it is often done so in an isolated and sparse fashion. The presenters will provide an integrative way to bridge content into the virtual online community, Dusonburgh.

Following the general introduction to Dusonburg by faculty members, we will in this section of the presentation, demonstrate how Dusonburg can be utilized to assimilate NONPF nurse practitioner competencies outlined below to incorporate mental health scenarios into Dusonburg virtual community utilizing the virtual patients/families described in an earlier section.

Dusonburgh provides the faculty and student with a virtual community in which the instructor can incorporate scenarios to embrace nurse practitioner core competencies. In this presentation, we will add psychiatric content to the Dusonburg community at an appropriate time in the curriculum. The possibilities are endless and are easily steered by faculty.
