Summary:Dr. Anne Thomas, Chair of the Integrated Core Competencies Task Force and NONPF Board Member, will introduce the new core NP competencies. Dr. Nancy Winslade of McGill University will discuss student assessment within the context of being an independent practitioner and engage attendees in an exercise of applying core competencies to assessment tools. Audience will have additional time for discussion.
