Abstract:
Achieving national accreditation is a critical element in the planning and launching of a DNP program.  Quality programs produce quality graduates who can assume leadership roles in improving health care.  Savvy students and potential students want to be assured that they will graduate from a program that meets or exceeds all recommended and required professional criteria.  To meet these expectations and also  to reap the advantage of peer review , we recommend that you apply for accreditation early in the operation of your DNP program.

The purpose of this poster is to share what we learned while preparing our self study and during the CCNE accreditation visit that may smooth the path for others.
