Summary:

This session will focus in-depth on two areas of high relevance for transitioning NP curriculum to the DNP degree: (1) Implementing the post-baccalaureate DNP NP curriculum, and (2) exploring collaborative models to offer the DNP degree. Specific issues addressed will include unique needs of post-baccalaureate students for clinical experiences, enrollment and admission criteria for accelerated second degree students, scholarly inquiry projects by post-baccalaureate students, sequencing of DNP core courses and APRN preparation, consortia models, and other partnership opportunities.
