NONPF Abstract Submission

Review criteria for Abstracts: All general, workshop, and symposium submissions will undergo blind, peer review using the following evaluation criteria in consideration for acceptance:

  1. Relevance of content for NP/APRN faculty
  2. Quality of material
  3. Originality/innovation of material
  4. Feasibility of replication or implementation by other NP/APRN faculty
  5. Overall merit (timeliness, clarity, ect)

Mentoring Opportunity Members who are new to NONPF and have not yet presented at the annual conference are eligible to receive mentoring from a seasoned NP faculty member on drafting an abstract and/or preparing for presentation. Anyone interested in this opportunity should send an email to nonpf@nonpf.org with "Mentor Request" in the subject line. Requests must be received by September 1.



Starting a new Submission:

All submissions include an abstract (350-word limit), objective, and content outline.

Sample topics for presentations (including, but not limited to):
New Faculty; DNP program issues; Preceptor issues; student evaluation; curriculum development faculty resources; informatics; teaching strategies; faculty practice topics; NP education research; technology; distance programs; and more.

To begin a new submission, select one of the abstract categories below: General, Workshop, or Symposium.

To continue with an existing submission, log in below with the ID and password you would have received by e-mail once you initiated your submission.


General Submission:  for podium (oral) presentation scheduled during a concurrent session or for a poster (traditional or electronic) presentation.

Workshop Submission:  a "how to" presentation that is scheduled as an entire concurrent session. A limited # of workshops are accepted. A minimum of three presenters is required.

Symposium Submission:  a series of 3-4 abstracts on a related topic and scheduled as an entire concurrent session. A minimum of three presenters is required.


Adding/Editing an Existing Submission:

  • If you wish to edit an existing general submission, (Podium or Poster) or paper within a symposium, utilize the log-in information provided with the submission:

  • If you wish to edit an existing symposium or workshop submission, including adding additional abstracts to the submission, utilize the log-in information provided with the initial submission:
